Never would Will Dickson tell you that his has been a conventional road. But he would offer that his recent play puts him back on a path that he always envisioned for himself.
Still savoring his victory in the GPro Tour Championship that was worth $10,000, the one-time junior golf standout from Rhode Island is looking forward to catching his breath, taking in some summer vacation time, then building on the improvements he has made in his game over the last year.
“This is a good time for me,” said Dickson.
Why?
“I am exempt from pre-qualifying for the first stage of Q School in the fall, because I made the cut in a Korn Ferry Tour event,” said Dickson. “That’s huge. It helps give me a chance to relax, regroup, and stay sharp.”
At 23, Dickson will take on Q School in the fall, with the goal to secure playing status on the Korn Ferry Tour.
