One player who seems to be attracting attention is Christy Chen. The Boston University junior won three events and is on the Annika Award watch list for her excellent play. However, there are other teams and players who hope to ride the momentum from their fall performances.
Boston College comes into the spring as the highest-ranked team in New England according to the official Spikemark rankings. They hope to maintain that position and play well in the challenging Atlantic Coast Conference, which includes Wake Forest, the defending national champion and current No. 1 team in the country.
