Three New England schools headed south for the Jekyll Island Collegiate in Georgia this weekend and put up an impressive showing as they nabbed all the podium spots.
Wellesley College, the No. 10 ranked team in the country in Division 3, won the event with a team total of 58-over par. Williams College finished second at 64-over par. Amherst College came in third with a team total of 72-over par.
Considering these three teams have had long offseasons in the northeast, the performances were impressive.
Wellesley had three players in the top 10. Sarah Yeh was the highest finisher for the winners with rounds of 77-73-77 to finish in a tie for second. Grace Sun (T7) and Audrey Wang (T9), along with Aileen Duh (T17) were the other counting scores for the Blue.
