Golf is often a family affair.
For John Broderick, it started with his dad cajoling him and his brothers out onto the golf course. John, like his three brothers growing up in Wellesley, Mass., was more interested in hockey and baseball.
“It wasn’t my thing,” Broderick said. “But I learned to love the game.”
The love bloomed when John beat his older brother James, who's now a baseball player at Wake Forest.
“As an eleven-year-old, that was a big deal,” Broderick said.
Broderick counts the great relationship with his brothers as a big reason he has found success on the golf course.
