The Tri-State matches among Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island will take place in at Wampanoag Country Club in West Hartford, Conn., on October 10-11. It's been 46 years since the course hosted these matches, which rotate among the three states.
The annual event, which unofficially marks the end of the competitive season for many of these players, has been dominated by Massachusetts in recent history.
Since 2004, the Bay State squad has conquered its regional foes every year except for 2018, when Connecticut won.
The history of the event is rich, having started in 1907. In 1928, the event became official and Massachusetts won that rendition at Yale Golf Club.
