October marks the end of the competitive golf season in New England. The weather impacted some tournaments with rain and wind. A few powered through, and a few postponed to brighter days marked with foliage and long shadows.
While some might be sharpening skates and hoping for a good season of snow, there were still plenty of golf trophies up for grabs this month. High school state champions were crowned in four New England states, and college and professionals also found good weather down south for some excellent golf.
This month has a few familiar names, along with some new golfers who played exceptional golf and are receiving their first selection on our monthly lists.
