Fairfield Prep won the Connecticut Division 1 team title after shooting 287 at Stanley Golf Course in New Britain, Conn. A year removed from a fourth-place finish where they were just six shots behind champion Greenwich, Fairfield Prep left no doubt with an eight-shot victory.
A title in high school golf truly requires a team effort. It's nearly impossible to hide if a couple of players have a rough day. Even a bad hole or two can cost a team a chance at the title. Fairfield Prep's Rob Rosati and Caden Piselli made it a bit easier on their teammates, as they both fired impressive 68s.
Those teammates who posted the other two counting scores were Ravi Khanna who shot a solid 75 to finish 13th. Luke Hoglund finished in 19th place with a 76 to round out the winning score for the Fairfield Prep.
