Never would Selina Redeker tell you it was love at first sight with the game of golf. No, those childhood days back in Quaker Hill, Conn., could be lonely because her friends didn’t play the game and she was the only girl on the Waterford High School team.
“I didn’t enjoy it a whole lot back then,” said Redeker, who was taught the game by her father.
She can laugh now, because she’s now the Executive Director of the Kansas Golf Foundation and looking back on her life, Redeker realizes she has never worked a day outside of the golf industry.
“I love it, it’s all I know.”
