Connecticut will be the epicenter of professional golf in June when the Travelers Championship returns to TPC River Highlands (Cromwell, Conn.).
Vermont's Keegan Bradley will be defending the title. Just like last year, the Travelers will take place the week following the U.S. Open and is one of the tour's eight signature events, meaning the field will be strong once again.
In addition to the Travelers, which runs June 20-23, the Connecticut golfing calendar is filled with compelling men’s, women’s, senior and junior competitions, including the New England Senior Amateur at Quinnatisset Country Club in Thompson.
We’ve compiled a list of major competitions to be contested in the state this spring, summer and fall.
