It is always a thrill to fight off the approach of bitter cold winter weather with a trip to Florida. Even better, of course, is bringing some semblance of a quality game with you. Oh, and if it just so happens that some memorable achievements are part of your trek, well, then it’s time to raise a glass and offer a toast.
In other words, here’s to you, Alison Walshe. You did yourself proud on your little jaunt to southern Florida.
The pride of Westford, Mass., Walshe is a former LPGA competitor, and the owner of arguably the most eclectic and flavorful collegiate golf careers in history (more on that later).
Walshe, 37, is a strategic relations manager with Hexagon Capital Partners. But even though she’s several years removed from her pro golf career, the game is still her passion – and playing it beautifully is in her DNA.
