The beat goes on for the New England boys' Class of 2024 verbal golf commitments.
Ryan Downes (Longmeadow, Mass.) got the party started in October with his verbal nod to Vanderbilt, currently the consensus No. 1 team in the country.
More recently, the number of Class of 2024 commitments rose to four: Max Jackson (Cumberland, R.I.) and Thomas Murdough (Concord, Mass.) announced their intentions to attend Rutgers. Will Gregware (West Hartford, Conn.) will play his college golf at the University of Maryland.
Now Alan Rose (Weston, Mass.), a junior at Noble and Greenough, is the fifth player to proclaim his plans for his college golf. On March 31, Rose announced his decision to commit to Georgetown for the fall of 2024.
